The temperature series shows an unusual 2-degree change of register
during the final two weeks of the record. Is it real or is it an
instrument error?

This instrument, like the meter immediately above it, carried a
pressure sensor. However, the recorded pressures bear no relation
to the instrument's stated depth. We have included the pressure
series here because it does show episodes of significant blowover,
which we assume are real.
