On two occasions (13 Jun 99 and 10 Nov 99) the mooring experienced
a disturbance that resulted in a pressure spike at all depths and
a brief speed increase at every depth except that of the deepest
instrument. On 13 Jun 99 the upper portion of the mooring plunged
about 50 meters. The depth increase on 10 Nov 99 was about half
that.
