MAFF states: "A scatter plot shows the directions to be anomalous.
The current meter was checked and seems OK, but it is possible that
its rotation was impeded in some way. Exercise caution if the
directions are to be used."

We note that for much of the record the directions are confined
to two narrow ranges, one near 50 degrees and the other near 270
degrees. There are no directions less than 30 degrees or greater
than 345 degrees.
