Temperature is unreliable and heavily interpolated from about 4 Dec 90 onward. The pressure sensor malfunctioned throughout; this series is not useful. Direction contains some spikes that may be instrument errors. CMDAC has prepared an alternate file in which speed spikes on 30 Dec 90, 19 Feb 91, and 1 May 91 were removed by linear interpolation. Spikes in direction on 21 Feb 91 and 30 Mar 91 also were removed. Temperature was truncated on 3 Dec 90. The pressure series was not included in the alternate version. Both versions are available on this disk.
