This episode coincides with a 7-hour segment of speeds that the originator has linearly interpolated. CMDAC has prepared an alternate file in which u and v during the 7-hour segment have been replaced by means of a predictive filter. In addition, three speed spikes later in the record have been removed (in the alternate version). The spikes are on 18 sep 90, 5 Feb 91, and 14 Feb 91. Both versions of the file are available on this disk.
