According to the recovery log, the rotor turned freely. (CMDAC notes here that threshhold speeds, if in error, often are caused by a failure of the reed switch that counts rotor turns, rather than by the rotor seizing.) CMDAC has prepared an alternate version of this file in which a few direction spikes and speed spikes, apparently caused by instrument errors, have been smoothed by linear interpolation. Both the original and value-added versions of the file are available on this disk.
