All of the time series have been low-pass filtered and decimated
to two points per day, by the PIs. The filter is described as
having a "40-hour cutoff." CMDAC does not have the original
unfiltered data and was unable to check for instrument errors.

The temperatures in this file are potential, rather than in-situ
temperatures. (Potential temperature is the temperature that a
water parcel would have if it were moved adiabatically from its
measurement depth to the sea surface.)

The current meter's speed sensor failed between 22 Oct 91 and
4 Jan 92 (lines 573 through 721). Direction and temperature are
present throughout, however.
