Speed and direction end early, at line 4687 (0200 27 Oct 90).
Neither series is terribly useful, since speed was below threshold
most of the time and recorded direction mostly did not change
when speed did not change. Below threshold speeds have been set
to 0.55 cm/sec (half the stall speed).
