After editing, all series were smoothed with a 3-hour lowpass Lanczos filter. Frequencies higher than about 6 cycles per day have been greatly attenuated. The minimum pressure recorded by this instrument (137.9 db) suggests that it was deeper than the nominal 100 m value given for it. Speed and direction end 30 hours earlier than temperature and pressure.
