Current meter and SeaBird records from OSNAP Irminger

The moorings listed below were deployed across the Irminger Sea southwest of Iceland, as part of OSNAP ("Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program"). ADCP records are not shown below, nor are they included in the zip file mentioned above. Instead, they are contained in a seperate zip file that you can download here. There were four upward-looking ADCPs in the Irminger array, each positioned at 475 m. We are providing here just the 32 deepest bins from each ADCP. In every case the remaining (shallowest) bins were, as is usual with ADCPs, mostly errors. If you do want those shallow bins, email us and we will send them to you.

In this data set, temperature loggers and current meters that did not have a pressure sensor have been gifted with a pressure record from a nearby Microcat. These pressure records were modified by adding a constant term and then interpolated to lie at the same time points as the time series to which they were added. NIOZ's purpose was to provide a way to estimate blowover for all of the instruments.
