WHOI's processing notes for this mooring state that the VACM
at 20 meters had a sticky compass, but an examination of the
data indicates that perhaps the 10 meter instrument was meant.
At 10 meters, both speed and direction are degraded badly after
22 May 1986 and we have terminated the record at that point.
At 20 meters, the directions appear reasonable throughout and
are similar to those recorded at 30 meters.
