Experiment name: ACM29 (Labrador Sea)
Principal Investigator: P.Rhines, J.Lazier
PI's affiliation: Bedford Inst Oc
Mooring Name: 1194
Mooring position: 56.752 deg N, 52.456 deg W
Instrument depth: 2502 meters
Seafloor depth: 3502 meters
Times: starts 13 Jun 1995, ends 21 May 1996

Instrument type: Aanderaa RCM8

speed (cm/sec) 1.10 9.56 33.65 6.98 342.9
dir (deg true) 0.16 215.70 359.79 87.27 342.9

v (cm/sec) -30.73 -1.41 32.40 6.73 342.9

Approximately 4.8% of the speeds were at or below the current
meter's threshold and have been set to 1.1 cm/sec. In cases where
the speed was lower than the threshold, the instrument did not
register a meaningful direction. The file provided to OSU contained
null directions in these instances, which were 131 in number.
In order to provide continuous time series we have replaced
the nulls with linear interpolations.
