The speed series contains a gap in lines 149 through 184
(1000 26 Sep 92 through 2100 27 Sep 92). From appearances in
the file that we received it is clear that the original
recording contained a speed wrap-around at this point, which
had been badly repaired with interpolations. Since our goal
is to avoid propagating bad data, we have simply removed the
episode entirely.

A second, much shorter gap with the same etiology occurs in
lines 805 through 812 of the speed series (1800 23 Oct 92
through 0100 24 Oct 92).

The speed sensor's threshold appears to have been unusually
high, about 3.19 cm/sec. About 9.2% of all speeds were
somewhere below the threshold and appear as zero in this
record.

Move up one level.
