Horizontal velocities from the ADCP at Bussol Strait 1

Scroll downward through this document to see velocity plots from the ADCP. The plots are arranged in groups of 4 consecutive bins, with the deepest bin at the top. All the plots were made from filtered data. The filter removes the diurnal tides and all higher frequencies. Please be aware that the stated depths assume that the instrument remained at its intended depth, 150 meters. In fact, the ADCP appears to have been 8 to 10 meters deeper under no-load conditions and plunged to nearly 1400 meters during portions of the tidal cycle.
