Scroll down to see PVDs from the 10 deepest bins, those with the best
signal-to-noise performance. Below that, we show two shallower PVDs.

For comparison we show a PVD from the shallowest bin at 288 meters,
and another from 360 meters. Although the 360-meter PVD retains some
of the characteristics of the deeper PVDs, it is suspect because the
time series from the 360-meter bin are extremely noisy. At 288 meters
the signal-to-noise ratio is virtually always zero, although that bin
evidently contains some information (its PVD is not a random walk).
