The filter is described as having a "40-hour cutoff." CMDAC does not have the original unfiltered data. The maximum speed in this record is 1.14 cm/sec, which is either the instrument's threshold or just above it. The speed values in the record probably are not useful as such but can be taken as an indication that the speeds were mostly (or perhaps entirely) at or below the RCM8's threshold. The current meter's temperature sensor was not specially calibrated for this experiment. That is, the manufacturer's calibration was used. Since the response of a sensor and its circuitry may drift substantially in time, these temperatures should be used with caution.
