This instrument lost its speed rotor on 6 Dec 95. Speed and
direction end at that point, about 30 days before the temperature
series ends.

During 13, 14, 15 and 16 Aug 95 the temperature series contains
several short episodes in which the sensor was offscale. A longer
offscale episode occurs immediately after this, in lines 1923
through 2937 (0700 16 Aug 95 through 1300 27 Sep 95). The offscale
temperatures have been replaced by gaps in the time series.
