There are many short linear interpolations in speed, most of them a few hours to a day in length. Direction appears to contain some interpolations, but a greater problem is that the compass stuck at 336 degrees for much of the experiment. Only the first 2 months (approximately) of the direction series is useful. The speed series is mostly OK through the end of October 91. Use these data with caution. The current meter's battery failed about 11 months after deployment.
