These statistics were computed from filtered data. The diurnal tides and higher frequencies are absent from the data. Please keep this in mind when evaluating these statistics, and particularly when comparing them with statistics from other experiments. Most of the other current meter records on this disk are unfiltered and contain more high-frequency energy than the present dataset.
