On some occasions values from the temperature, speed and direction sensors were clearly incorrect and these have been replaced by an interpolated value. A total of 269 speeds and 82 directions were amended and users should be aware that some questionable values may remain in this record. A comparison with the series from the meter situated 528 m below this one indicated a marked similarity. CMDAC believes this to be, on the whole, a good record.
