The current meter's speed sensor malfunctioned for approximately
8 days during March and April 1992 (2130 26 Mar 92 through 2130
3 Apr 92). Speed, u, and v contain a gap at this point; temperature,
pressure, and direction are present throughout, however.

Approximately 39% of the speeds in this record were at or below
the current meter's threshold (1.86 cm/sec). They have been set
to half the threshold value.
