The nominal depth of this instrument is given as 250 meters.
However, the pressure record indicates that the actual depth
of the instrument was closer to 290 meters. This is confirmed
by pressure records from other current meters on the mooring,
which also indicate depths about 40 meters greater than the given
depths.
