The following note is provided by MAFF: The recovery logsheet
records that the swivel of the current meter was fouled with
rope.  Almost all directions lie in a 40 degree sector, which
would suggest that the meter was restricted in its ability to
align with the current. However, a comparison with the record
200 meters below this one suggests that the actual flow directions
were close to those recorded by this meter.
