All of the time series have been low-pass filtered and decimated
to two points per day, by the PI. The filter is described as
having a "40-hour cutoff." CMDAC does not have the original
unfiltered data and was unable to check for instrument errors.

The temperatures in this file are potential, rather than in-situ
temperatures. (Potential temperature is the temperature that
a water parcel would have if it were moved adiabatically from
its measurement depth to the sea surface.)

The speed series ends at 1200 6 Jun 91 (line 474); the speed
sensor appears to have failed at that point. Direction is present
throughout, however.

Move up one level.
