These data originally were recorded with a time increment
of 15 minutes. After editing, all series were smoothed with
a 3-hour lowpass Lanczos filter. Frequencies higher than
about 6 cycles per day have been greatly attenuated.

The minimum pressure recorded by this instrument (137.9 db)
suggests that it was deeper than the nominal 100 m value given
for it.

This record was terminated early by the originator. As it
stands, however, u and v in the final 30 hours of the remaining
portion are suspect. CMDAC has provided an alternate version
in which the final 30 hours of u and v have been removed.
Both versions of the file are available on this disk.
