These data originally were recorded with a time increment 
of 15 minutes. After editing, all series were smoothed with
a 3-hour lowpass Lanczos filter. Frequencies higher than
about 6 cycles per day have been greatly attenuated. 

Temperature appears to contain some fairly long linear interpolations
during the first 20 days. Use this portion of the temperature
series with caution.
