The speed sensor failed about 45 days into the deployment.  The
last good speed is at line 2138, on 21 Jun 95. Approximately 10%
of the speeds from the first 45 days were below the instrument's
threshold and have been set to 0.93 cm/sec (half the threshold).
Direction is present throughout, however.
