Almost no directions were recorded between about 60 degrees and
220 degrees. There are a few tidal cycles where the direction curve
crosses this gap with 2 or 3 points. Otherwise, the directions
appear reasonable. Was this instrument sitting in a narrow channel?

The rcm's clock was running 10 minutes 14 seconds slow at recovery.
